It also references biblical text describing faith as childlike, without pre–conceived notions or ideas regarding religion. BIOGRAPHY David Capra is influenced by Outsider art and contemporary craft practices. Last year, David was a recipient of the Arts Award distributed by the Region of Piedmont, Italy (Piemontese nel Mondo Award). His practice has been discussed in various publications, including NYArts, If, and SummerWinter magazine. He was a Qantas Spirit of Youth Award (SOYA) finalist in 2006 and 2007, judged by Elizabeth Ann Macgregor.
